The 5^th World Leisure Expo and Forum was host­ed by the World Leisure Orga­ni­za­tion (WLO) and the Hangzhou Munic­i­pal Peo­ple’s Gov­ern­ment on ​“Dig­i­tal Smart Future. Liv­able Par­adise”. Estab­lished in 1952, the WLO is a world­wide asso­ci­a­tion, non-gov­ern­men­tal and non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tion, that pro­motes leisure as an inte­gral part of social, cul­tur­al, eco­nom­ic, and sus­tain­able devel­op­ment. The UNESCO Chair hold­er was invit­ed as the Founder and Exec­u­tive Direc­tor of the Inter­na­tion­al Year of Glob­al Under­stand­ing and Chair of the IGU Research Group ​‘Glob­al Understanding’,
