The Global Citizenship Convention

Under the slo­gan con­nect, empow­er, and trans­form”, the Glob­al Cit­i­zen­ship Con­ven­tion (GCC) has tak­en place at the Friedrich Schiller Uni­ver­si­ty of Jena from Octo­ber 13 – 21. More than 70 par­tic­i­pants from 20 dif­fer­ent coun­tries par­tic­i­pat­ed in the conference.

The pri­ma­ry motive of the Glob­al Cit­i­zen­ship Con­ven­tion 2022 is to bring peo­ple togeth­er from all over the world, to con­nect them, and to enable an exchange of young pio­neers, prac­ti­tion­ers, and experts to devel­op col­lab­o­ra­tive solutions.

Prof. Dr. Ben­no Werlen deliv­ered an intro­duc­to­ry pre­sen­ta­tion to the pan­el dis­cus­sion Mak­ing Sense of the World” on the top­ic Cul­tur­al and Region­al Dimen­sion of Glob­al Sus­tain­abil­i­ty”. He also par­tic­i­pat­ed in the sub­se­quent World Café.
