4th CEGOT Meeting

In the cur­rent cli­mate change sce­nario, solv­ing the envi­ron­men­tal imbal­ances can be an oppor­tu­ni­ty to build a renewed per­spec­tive of society’s progress and wel­fare, hav­ing as a start­ing point the con­cil­i­a­tion of eco­nom­ic, social, and envi­ron­men­tal interests.

In this sense, the 4th Inter­na­tion­al Con­fer­ence of CEGOT has a sig­nif­i­cant objec­tive to debate the role of Geog­ra­phy in the Con­struc­tion of Sus­tain­able Territories.

In an impor­tant moment in the His­to­ry of Human­i­ty, Geog­ra­phy has an excel­lent oppor­tu­ni­ty to reaf­firm itself as Science.
